Steven Van Betten is a Los Angeles-based songwriter whose music tells stories from the American West and explores the intimacies of human relationships. Originally from rural Nevada, his sound is inspired by time spent in nature, resulting in vulnerable and tender solo performances. Also known for his work with the band Fell Runner, he co-founded the School of Song, teaching songwriting alongside notable contemporaries.
