Sarah Rose Project is the solo venture of Sarah Rose, lead vocalist for Atlanta's cabaret punk band Sarah and the Safe Word. Drawing on raucous jazz, rock and roll, and dark Americana, her sound is both familiar and freshly personal, showcased in tracks like "Bar in Hell." Recorded partly in Chicago, the project features rich, cinematic arrangements.
