Brooklyn's Public Practice delivers a vibrant and playfully angular brand of art rock, drawing inspiration from late '70s New York's no wave, funk, and dark disco scenes. Comprised of members from former bands WALL and Beverly, they craft thoughtful tracks with tense rhythms and a new wave sheen. Their music, as heard on their debut "Gentle Grip," is both a nod to the past and a fresh take on contemporary post-punk.
