Oort Smog is a Los Angeles-based duo pushing the boundaries of jazz with their experimental and avant-garde approach, drawing from brutal prog and free improvisation. Comprising Mark Kimbrell and Patrick Shiroishi, also known from Upsilon Acrux, they explore the sax-drum duo tradition with intense, complex compositions.
