Innov Gnawa

Based in New York City, Innov Gnawa is a Grammy-nominated group exploring the rich traditions of Moroccan Gnawa music. Led by Ma’alem Hassan Ben Jaafer, the ensemble creates hypnotic, trance-like rhythms rooted in ritual poetry and prayer. Their performances are a powerful and soulful experience, often described as a form of "Sufi Blues."
