CRASHprez is the rap project of Chicago-based artist and writer Michael Penn II. With hip-hop as the backbone, his music oscillates between the cathartic and comedic, offering a Black queer man’s transmissions from a bizarre existence. His work chronicles a burning world through questions of power, desire, and agency, creating a compelling live experience.
