Big Black Delta is the electrifying solo project of Los Angeles-based musician Jonathan Bates, formerly of Mellowdrone. Launched in 2010, the music fuses '80s new wave hooks with cinematic synthesizer soundscapes and industrial undertones, as heard on tracks like "Huggin & Kissin" and "Capsize."
